Since their launch nine months ago, the pop-up grocery outlets or ‘Dark Stores’ which started initially in Berlin, have expanded to 12 cities across Europe including London. They provide customers with a new way to shop for their groceries, offering immediate access to fresh and healthy groceries within 10 minutes from ordering via an App with delivery straight to the doorstep!
Gorillas carefully select the location for their Dark Stores researching into the demographics of the area. Thus, allowing them to offer not only basic groceries, but also products that will appeal to the consumers within its radius.
So far, this new approach is proving to be immensely popular and this is only set to grow as the brand expands to other city locations within the UK.
Gorillas approached Husky, leading commercial refrigeration experts in the UK to supply them with their PRO range of display fridges and freezers to Dark Stores being set up across the nation’s capital.
